Workshop: Magic Mark’s Art Of Harmless Misdirection

July 25, 2019 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Mark Carapezza teaches adults and teens how to create an original magic routine using patter, presentation, forces, and misdirections. There will be three sessions:
July 25: Cards
Aug. 1: Sponge Balls
Aug. 8: Impromptu Household Items.

All materials will be provided and no experience is required. Sign up for one, sign up for them all! This class is for ages 12 and up. Space is limited and registration is required.

When Mark’s grandparents, aunts and uncles passed the hat after he performed a few tricks on Thanksgiving he used the money to buy more tricks. He was 5. Holidays passed and his routine grew until a few years later Santa left him 500 business cards in his stocking, ‘Magic Mark, Family Parties & Events.” Since then Mark has had the honor of performing in living rooms of all sorts for families all over the world, most recently in Northern India.

Mark’s childhood learning of the Art (the performance and presentation) of Magic later lead him to the stage as an actor, singer songwriter, and comedian. When not performing he works as a carpenter, Yoga instructor, and Conceptual Artist. His next work, the environmental installation ‘Wishes From Rishikesh,” goes into production this September.

Free admission.
