Hands-On History for Kids
Crafts for kids + caretakers in the Discovery Room at the Whaling Museum, 13 Broad Street. Each craft is designed to encourage participants to visit the Whaling Museum and explore the historical significance of the artifacts and souvenirs that Nantucketers carried home from their journeys aboard whaleships. Mondays: Whale Mobiles & Whirligigs. Free with museum admission or NHA membership.

Nantucket Bike Tour - Town & Cisco Brewery
Pedal through town center, around various historical locations and even out to Cisco Brewery! We provide the bikes helmets, water bottles and interactive, passionate guides to help you enjoy the ultimate island experience. Please book your tour in advance at or call 508-825-5362. Beach Discovery Field Trip
Go from interested beach visitor to expert beach comber! Join us to learn how to identify the crabs, shells, sponges, and seaweeds commonly found along the beach. Learn about the lives of these animals as we walk along one of Nantucket's beautiful beaches. Pre-registration required. Sign up at or call 508-228-9198. Limited to 30 people.
