3D Print Club for TEENS @ Nantucket Atheneum
Nov 30 @ 10:00 am – 11:30 am

Nantucket Atheneum has a 3D printer. And we think a club is a great way to allow island teens to experience the power of 3D printing. We will meet twice a month to work on 3D projects.

We will be using Tinkercad.com, a friendly browser-based design program, to create 3D objects. Best of all, you can save your designs not only for 3D printing, but for export into Minecraft as well! When you are ready to print*, Nantucket Atheneum charges $0.10 per gram, including rafts and supports, for all 3D printed objects – so most small objects cost $1 – $2.
For teens in grades 6-12.

* No illegal or dangerous objects will be approved for printing.
