Online: Community Reading With Librarians Who Write

In celebration of National Library Week, we offer poetry and prose readings of original work by librarians who are also writers. We’ll tip our hats to great librarian-writers like Anne Tyler, Luis Borges, Philip Larkin, Archibald MacCleish, Per Petterson and Beverly Cleary. Then each will share why libraries are important to them before reading their work.
Readers:
Corey Farenkopf, Sturgis Public Library (Prose)
Amy Jenness, Nantucket Atheneum (Prose)
Caitlin Kelley, Rockville Public Library (Poetry)
Michael Mercurio, UMass Amherst Library (Poetry)
