Nantucket Science Festival Week

Presented by Maria Mitchell Association, with partners in science that include the National Informal STEM Education Network, Nantucket Land Council, Nantucket Conservation Foundation and Linda Loring Nature Foundation among others. This event offers fun and engaging activities designed for learners of all ages. The festival is completely free-of-charge and has grown to be the largest mid-winter event for the community with more than 450 participants and 45 staff & volunteers.

New for 2021: we are thrilled to be offering a week-long festival and celebration of all things STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics).  Together with community partners, we will offer:

Activity kits, science demos on YouTube, video contests, outdoor programs and more!  On-site indoor programs will be offered on a limited basis with registration required.
