Best Bites of 2014

There are many reasons to savor the off-season on Nantucket — one of the best is that we can walk into our favorite restaurants without a reservation and immediately get a table or seat at the bar. Here are our choices for "Best Bites" at Nantucket Restaurants of the season: these are our favorite dishes among those we tasted during our Featured Restaurant visits—appetizers and entrees that we'd love to have again.  Some of these restaurants will close for the winter months, but try them while they are open and remember them in the springtime, when they reopen!
