Arno's Breakfast & Seafood Restaurant

Arno

Quality is everything at Arno's, from the organic eggs and coffee to the top shelf liquors. Even the ketchup is organic (and, yes, it does make a difference). You can taste the freshness of the seafood and the vegetables served here, and portions are very generous. Only the heartiest eaters can finish an entire meal without a little help.

Arno's Breakfast & Seafood Restaurant

We wandered into Arno's Breakfast & Seafood | Nantucket, one morning last week, thinking we'd grab a quick breakfast before going back to work, and discovered why Main Street was so quiet: everyone was in this restaurant! We followed the host into a room filled with people chatting happily in front of plates piled with food. We snagged two seats at the bar, ordered two Red Eyes, and looked over the menu. Eight different big omelets (eat one of these for breakfast and you probably won't need lunch!), five different versions of Eggs Benedict, Huevos Rancheros, Pancakes, Waffles, French Toast and those are just the main categories! Clearly, this is the place to start your day on Nantucket.

There are restaurants on the beach where sunsets get a round of applause; restaurants where every course is a sensory experience; and restaurants who have earned international accolades. A few of the island's fine dining restaurants are open year-round, offering culinary treats during the deep winter months, but most open for Nantucket Daffodil Festival Weekend and close between Columbus Day and Christmas Stroll.
Casual Dining & Take Out
Nantucket is loved as a place where people can relax and unwind. Our many casual eateries are ideal spots for kicking back and enjoying local color. The tasty fare is often available for take-out as well as eat-in. Several that are great for families during the day and early evening, after 9 pm become popular nightspots for the over 21 set, with live music, karaoke, theme nights, and more.

Summertime Beers

~ by Jenny Benzie, Advanced Sommelier + Certified Wine Educator, Proprietress of Épernay Wine & Spirits ~ The goal of a summertime beer is all about refreshment. Having a nice cold brew on a warm summer day (or as warm as it gets here on island) will never go out of style, similar in concept ... Read More...

We're on a Boat!

by Leah Mojer I love watching the harbor fill up, slowly over weeks and weeks. It starts with a handful of barely noticeable sailboats and motor boats, then it seems like overnight that the harbor explodes with hundreds of white masts and hulls. Nantucket on the water is one its greatest treats. ... Read More...
